FISHING GEAR
Fishing gear consists of a long line reel holding about 140 kilometres of line. The line is shot over the stern of the port hull through a line shooter. Two branch line haulers are installed on the starboard side.
Fish are lifted aboard via a stern ramp in the starboard hull and are moved
over the appropriate brine tank by way of a travelling hoist.
Winches, net reels, line haulers,booms, gantries, stern ramps, fish pounds, sorting tables, power blocks, and processing areas are all able to be simply and cheaply designed, built and accommodated within the current structure of the vessel.
