"Bairnsdale Citizens' Band Inc." is the umbrella association which incorporates
"East Gippsland Brass", "East Gippsland Symphonia" and "Bairnsdale Citizens' Band - Training Band".
It is situated in Bairnsdale, a country town in East Gippsland on the South-East coast of Victoria, Australia.
EGS rehearses every Wednesday night (7.00 to 9.00) , EGB Band Practice is every Thursday night (7.00 to 9.00) with the Training Band rehearsing early on Thursday evenings.
All three ensembles welcomes new players and can cater for people of any age wanting to learn a Brass, String, Woodwind or Percussion instrument.
BCB has around 60 active members and plays an important part in the community performing at events such as Carols By Candlelight, Merimbula Jazz Festival, the Bairnsdale Festival, Christmas Carols around the East Gippsland Region, ANZAC day ceremonies and many other community events.
