AIO (Australia's Independent Optometrists is an Australia wide group of Independent Optometrists. At present approximately 280 outlets are located all over the country; from  Hobart to Townsville, Perth to Sydney. AIO optometrists (we're one of them!) provide patients with the benefits of being big without losing the benefits of being a valued and known patient of a relatively small, friendly practice. AIO optometrists can satisfy all of your needs, whether it's professional advice on an eye or vision problem, or advice on clear or coloured contact lenses, or spectacles to suit your lifestyle. By being part of a group, but maintaining our independence, we have the opportunity to participate in programs that would be difficult to arrange if we practised in isolation.

AIO arranges training to ensure all of our staff are kept up to date on new developments which will help you. Additionally, AIO optometrists participate in continuing education programs conducted by our professional associations and universities. AIO wants you to know that its members are up to date with their knowledge. Eyecare is our priority, eyewear is part of our service, and the aim of every AIO practice (that includes us!) is simply to provide the very best professional attention.
